D5 cambelt change instructions

I'm thinking about tackling a cambelt change on my D5 SE S60. I have a certain amount of mechanical skill in terms of building race spec Vauxhall XE engines for my own trackday/sprint/hillclimb car, but I can read a manual, have a decent sized garage. the tools/skills etc, so how hard can it be? So does anyone have a book/cd/pdf etc. which covers the full proceedure including dissassembly and reassembly of the car, and might they be kind enough to share it? Are there any specialised tools, or can it all be set up with a protractor and dial gauge? Also, what parts do I need? Water pump, tensioner, and belt are par for the course, but are there any other idler pulleys or bolts etc which wear or fatigue over time I should buy? Thanks in advance. FA

Oh, and any cheaper places online to source the parts?

I haven't tried it myself, but I had a read through the Haynes book of lies for the V70/S80 and the cambelt change looked straightforward enough, for FWD at least! Try that first I guess?

Ok, I do have access to Autodata on a PC, but won't post any images here unless it's confirmed ok - The program is legitametly registered to us BTW.. Anyway, looking at it for our XC90 change due as folows: Upto 2004 MY 96000 miles or 10 years - Tensioner pulley to be changed also After 2004 MY 100,000 miles or 10 years - Tensioner pulley AND guide pulley to be changed also NO special tools required - quoted time of 1.2 hours - Looks nice and easy - for a change! Vehicle actually has it's own tension indicater that is set for abbient temperatures - Now that's got to be a 1st! As I said I have more info, and am happy to post if allowed. Mike
