uh oh The car has repeated it's tantrums twice now; with the same symptoms of mis fire. How does the T5 react if you remove one coil lead/pack ? Does it suffer badly ? Reason I ask, is that I have individual packs, so if one is intermittant I don't know if the symptoms were so drastic ! Mine sounds as if it runs on 2 cylinders ! Chris

Looks like it's the ETM. Problem is the car is outside, and not at Volvo, doh ! Time for a change of car methinks . . . Chris

AA man kindly towed me to local specialist. Looks like I'll have to pay out for another ETM ! Unless the CAT is blocked up, possibly . . . poor idle and unable to rev, hmmm. Watch this space. Chris

Local specialist doesn't know 100% how to proceed. They wanted to swap out and charge me for an ETM to see if it helped ! Told them to leave it and I'm having it trailered to SW. Apparently there is supply to all injectors, but only 2 fire ? Compression is all good with 175psi+ on all cylinders reported (not sure what the norm is). Chris
